Identification Resources
 The following books provide pictures and descriptions of plants that you can compare with your specimens for correct identification. If you are having difficulty identifying a plant or telling the difference between closely-related plants you can use special guides or plant keys. These plant keys and botanical guides require you to work through a series of questions about plant features to get a correct name. These keys use specialised botanical terms and can be difficult to use.
