Notes: Parents are thought to be Salix caprea, Salix cinerea and Salix viminalis. Salix ×calodendron has characteristics of all three species. This hybrid is probably the most effective species to plant for erosion control. Not classed as a Weed of National Significance (WONS) and sale not restricted in Australia. |
